Sri Natha Ahasthana
Forest Monastery is situated on top of a hill 6 kms away from Pilimatalawa in
the District of Kandy in Central Province. The monastery is beautifully
surrounded with green forest facing Adams Peak (Sri Pada) which could be seen far
away.
Our Monks who lives in the monastery, walks to the village (Goduru gama) daily in the morning on Pindapatha.

All basic facilities
such as a Shrine Room with a Samadhi Buddha Statue, Chethiyagara (Stupa) with a seating
capacity for devotees, a hall for Dhamma sermons and a Bo-tree – a sapling from
the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya, Anuradhapura is available at this monastery. The
Stupa is embedded with a casket containing the relics of Lord Samma Sambuddha
and great disciples such as Sariputta, Moggallana and Angulimala.
